Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they'd leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics to her experience after becoming a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She observed how it affected people in that country and gained a greater appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was co-host of the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She hosted The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 to July 2015.
